The AaBC123 Framework™ proposes that wellbeing
can be understood as a dynamic state of adaptive human functioning
continually cultivated through the interaction of internal capacities and external environments. Wellbeing is sustained over time through awareness, need satisfaction, intentional behaviour, flexible regulation, meaningful engagement, and responsive relational systems. As human systems operate within complex and evolving ecological contexts, wellbeing must be understood not as a fixed outcome or endpoint, but an adaptive process - a living, continually cultivated experience.
This framework is organized around Awareness, acceptance, Behaviour, and Care, applied across three interacting levels of system life: Me, We, and Us (Jarden & Jarden, 2016).
The AaBC123 Framework™

Level Two:
Systems Leadership
Level Three:
Wellbeing Change
C = Care
How can I/we do this with
Care for Self and Care for Others?
123 = Me, We, Us
